Wade Shows Hiring Schedule 2010

The hiring area is located outside of the gate at the entrance into the North parking lot on Federal Drive.  Bleachers will be set up at the North Entrance Gate on October 4th and 5th.  This is the ONLY location used to hire ANY positions that are needed to be filled during the Fair.  The Alabama National Fair office does not have any postions for hire.  All direct working positions for the office of the Alabama National Fair are filled by volunteers from the Kiwanis Club of Montgomery.   

Wade Shows will be hiring temporary positions to help erect, operate, and dismantle rides on Monday, October 4th, beginning at 8 a.m. Hiring will be done throughout the day on an "AS NEEDED" basis. Wade Shows' staff will come to the hiring area to seek additional help throughout the day as needed. Usually, 40 to 50 people are hired during the day to help set-up rides. Arriving at 8 a.m. DOES NOT guarantee an individual employment.

Positions in games, food stands, and ticket sales will be filled on Tuesday, October 5th, beginning at 8 am. Managers will come to the hiring area at that time to interview for these positions.

PLEASE NOTE: EMPLOYMENT IS NOT GUARANTEED TO ALL WHO SHOW UP. POSITIONS WILL BE FILLED ON AN AS NEEDED BASIS.

YOU MUST BE 19 YEARS OR OLDER WITH VAILD PHOTO I.D. to apply for any of these positions.

From I-65:
 
Take Exit #173, Northern Blvd.
Follow Northern Blvd to Coliseum Blvd., (State Coliseum Sign) and turn Right. Go to Federal Drive and turn right and you will be at the Alabama Agricultural Center (Garrett Coliseum, 1555 Federal Drive, 36107).
 
From I-85:
 
Turn right on Eastern Blvd, Exit #6. Follow Eastern Blvd. to Wetumpka (231) Exit and turn left. This is William L. Dickinson Drive. Proceed to fairgrounds.
